Thunderbird Mobile

One big happy family, on my phone.
[Thunderbird Logo]

I took a bit of time to play with Thunderbird Mobile. We'll begin this talk with: I use K9 Mail. It has been the only viable solution for me since Android 2.2.3 actually.
- Open Source
- Actual IMAP and SMTP client that cheerfully works with my Dovecot and Postfix.
- Unlike everything else, does Proper GPG (through OpenKeychain).
- Does OAUTH2 for those accounts I need occasionally (you can guess who they are).

Thunderbird being basically a fork of K9, it's all of that, with some UI updates and features.

I'm not uninstalling K9 yet, there are some things I would like to see in Thunderbird Mobile.  A plugin ecosystem (like Firefox Mobile and ThunderbIrd Desktop) that ideally would be more or less compatible with TBirdDesk's existing plugins. That would be great.
